I was over at the dealership on Saturday trying to get a feel for pricing on the new Black Speedster Spyder GTS. Event though they didn't have firm numbers yet, I was "this close" to slapping down a deposit.

But then I had a ping from a friend in europe (on my new special edition Blackberry Bold Smokey Violet Torch) about the upcoming Club Sport version of the Black Speedster Spyder GTS so I decided to hold off until full details on both models are released.

 

Does it come with PSE?

 

Apparently PSE is an optional "delete" on the BSS GTS (something like $2k), but is a no-cost delete on the CS BSS GTS.

But this is all just speculation at this point. Apparently Seinfeld is alreadly down for one of each....

Oh, and apparently the Club Sport version will be the Blaque Speedster Spyder GTS to differentiate it from the Black model.

 

Wow I must have missed this:

I know what the Speedster is, a 2 seat 911 limited to 356 cars in Pure Blue or white.
I know what the GTS is, a wider hipped Carrera S coupe or cabrio with X51.
And I know of the Boxster Spyder.

But what is a Black Speedster Spyder GTS Edition?

 

 

Ok I get it, Dan must having us on, either that or Porsche Marketing has decided there is a model gap that needs to filled - ya right!. Now about that matching luggage.

 

I would think the color center caps will be painted black for an upcharge of only $325.

i think you can order them with plastic aluminum look mirrors, just for a touch of accent....all for $920. thats cheap guys

 

It's a narrow body with a wide azz. It has the very LE X52 package with CF PSE and aluminum trim dash and wheels, SPASM normal plus, SC wartless dash package. All in basalt carrara blacque. I'm in at 5k over msrp.

 

Dude, you're gonna miss out when I order next year's Black Speedster Spyder GTS Clubsport RSR Spec-V and I will laugh at you as I drive by.

 

I think I´m going to waite fot the Pearl white Final Edition Ultimate GTS.2 RSR GT3 with beautiful Viper Green decals which is the big difference for the Speedster Spyder GTS Edition, apart from the color.
