Any ideas how long it takes for the plastic to smudge? My new GTS (three months old) has the same wheel but is perfect at present..

It's a manufacturing defect that was present from when the wheel was new. I saw my salesman today while I was waiting for my car and he said that this was a problem that they saw for a few months until Porsche changed something with their suppliers. He hadn't known my wheel was affected because I bought it later to replace the stock button wheel.

Anyway, if your wheel is perfect, it's from a newer batch and it should stay perfect.
