As I recall, these offsets are for the wide body 997. You should ask him why he's getting rid of them. He's got them pictured on a 993. No way should a 19 inch wheel be used on a 993, much less a 996. If you put them on your 996 just be prepared for excessive suspension wear and premature failure.
Keep in mind that the wheels, alone, (being castings) weight nearly 32 lbs A PIECE for the rears, and over 25 lbs A PIECE for the fronts--sans tires! (For comparison, The Fuchs Racing one-opiece forged wheels weigh 23.6 lbs each for the 12 in rear wheels--a savings of 8 lbs each).

I can only guarantee that these will work on a 996 / 997 WB - they may be a tad aggressive on a NB.
Hey Dan - pretty abrasive post (you're obviously an "expert"). Why don't you relax a little?
FYI - the wheels were only on my 993 for a day or 2 to see what they would look like (I'm a wheel collector).

I hope to be able to show a set of Fuchs Racing drop forged wheels within a couple of weeks on my car.
Nurburger--love the look but that's a big weight sacrifice.

Dan's, been pushing his racing Fuch's on here. Dan when will they be ready? Are the wheels the OP is selling really that heavy? That is insane heavy weight for a Porsche wheel.

While I applaud Porsche for contracting for someone to produce the newer designs, the cast versions are rather heavy. Otto Fuchs is also now producing their design in a drop-forged version, it is rather expensive. I like that the Fuchs Racing guys are designing and building something in the USA--a bit better for balance of payments. Weight should always be a factor when selecting wheels because, after all, the Porsche is a performance car that can be negatively affected by making a styling over performance decision.

Seems like we could have cut the OP a break in the thread he created to sell his wheels. If someone wants to discuss alternatives or issue a critique, starting their own thread would have been more appropriate.

no kidding, i think everyone reading this thread gets that it is classless to interrupt a thread in this way. Unfortunately, not edgy01, who keeps going on and on about fuchs racing ad nauseum. do his fantasy wheels even exist? groan!

I'd be interested if I had a 997 to put these on...they look absolutely mint.
GL with the sale.
