Too high in my book. Not a direct comparison but I purchased a concours quality 2005 S with mid level options with 11.5K miles for $45K.

The price isn't crazy for a dealer.

Sounds like a perfect color combo and low miles.

Shoot for $55,000.00.

I would not spend $60K on a 2007 'S' car under no conditions. how much to pay for it - may be $49K max. I am not sure where they got such a price from.
then I did a search on cars.com
http://www.cars.com/for-sale/searchr...ice&sf1Dir=ASC

and it indeed shows such price level. go figure.

2006 base carreras like one I got are showing up for $50K in average, some get up to $60K and 3 cars are at realistic $40K. I got mine in spring 2009 for $38K from a private seller. I do not understand those prices on used 2007 cars, IMHO they are not realistic or may be market got totally drained

I'm in the market for a similar car, a 2007 or 2008 S manual with a reasonable number of options, not a base model. I've been searching using the Porsche web site and also AutoTrader over the whole of USA.

I'm finding prices to be around 60k for a 2007 S with CPO at a dealer. The mileage doesn't appear to make a difference to the price.

I'm going to look at one this weekend that's $57k with CPO, 1 owner and it's done 41k miles. It ticks most of my boxes and the DME report is exceptional. I'm hoping it looks as good in the flesh as the pictures imply.

I agree. Average selling prices of $57K to $58K for CPO cars from dealer is what I have heard/seen depending on area of the country and dealer. Private party sales at $3K to $4K below that.

I am seeing $2K to $4K difference between 15K mile and 40K mile cars.

$60k is about what I was seeing for an 07 CPO with less than 15k miles. I had found 08's in the $64k range for the same equipment. The dealers will be higher but I would think they might be a little lower at present.

Good luck with your hunt. Even though it's certified I'd get a PPI with a DME readout.

As much as I wish that were true (as I own one) that seems high. Of course that’s their ask which is about as meaningful a number as the original MSRP. What it’s worth is what somebody is willing to pay. If $60K for a ‘07 S does not make you flinch, I’d recommend putting up an additional $5-$10 K and get a ‘09 better car and longer warranty. GL.

I actually disagree that it's over priced. People are comparing 2005 non-CPO to a 2007 CPO! Not a direct comparison. Also, in 2009 in midst of the recession there were some CRAZY prices from private sellers who were desperate for cash, so again, not a fair comparison.

Low mileage 07 CPO is in the range of 55-60K. It all depends how much you love the options/color of the car.

Why? both will be obsolete next year. Why pay premium?

DFI is NOT all its cracked up to be, it's engine/exhaust note is less sporty than 997.1 engines (it's almost silent compared to 997.1 PSE), and apart from a couple of electronic upgrades, the rest are 90% the same!

PS. BTW, it's not 5K more!
