Default Dashboard view?

Not sure if I am sitting the correct distance from the steering wheel but when I am driving I only can clearly see the 3 of the 5 gauges in the dashboard. The far left one and far right one(oil pressure, oil temp) or not in clear view.Basically, I have to move my head right or left to get a clear view.Is that the same for all of you?

At 6'4", the only gauge I can clearly see is the digital display for the speedometer and part of the tachometer. I have to move my head constantly to check any other gauges.

This is a pretty good representation of what's in my view, with the camera placed at the position of my head. I'm 6'2" with long legs, so the seat is all the way back and sits low (sport bucket with no height adjustment) and the wheel at a comfortable arm's reach. The paddle shift wheel is slightly thicker and smaller in diameter so it probably blocks more of the gauges from view than the standard wheel, but the end ones are partially hidden.

what's considered proper, or correct? i thought it was more of a comfort thing. as for the gauges, I pretty much only consider tach/speedo while driving, everything else can be viewed at a stop if needed

maybe I'm an idiot though - it's been said before!

Silver/Cocoa - what a great combination.

I can see all my gauges at least as well as Mike'nCA - I'm not 6'+ though - also I pull my wheel pretty far toward me and sit upright to keep a good driving posture without having my arms too extended - the "easy-rider" posture will put the perspective of the view so that more of the dash is not visible.
