I have a spare tire, jack, cover, and foam insert that I used as a spare for my 2008 997 C4S. It fits in the boot of my car.
I have sold the 997 and now have no need for the spare.
I am not interested in shipping, would prefer to sell for local pickup (I don't have box/materials to ship).
Original cost was was over $700.
Will sell for $300 Cash.

Pardon my question, but you said 1988 as the year, but 997? As you posted this in the 997 forum and the car in your avatar is a 997, I assume the year is not quite right...

Aside from date issues, it is most helpful to post the size of the wheel/tire - 17s are what work on 997s - and whether or not it is collapsible 17 or a filled 17. That's the essential information.

Sorry, my typing is poor some times.
My car was a 2008 C4S. The spare is a collapsible 17 with a 185/60x17 tire.
the number on the rim is 996.362.120.03
Hope this clears things up.

If you can figure out how to ship, you'd probably get loads of takers - maybe even worth ebaying it. I'd take it. That's a great price and those are very hard to find used.

I will look into shipping if nobody in the Austin, TX area shows up.
Also may put it on Craigs list locally.
