Edgy,
There's a wonderful forum called Politics and Controversy where the Gore haters and Global warming deniers hang out.
By coincidence, many of them share your views that we should return the country to the science and politics of the 1700's.

I'd like to add one more thing to MJSPorsche's top ten list of reasons to live in the North: Madison Square Garden and the New York Rangers!

Well, I guess you have to take solace in what you have. It's obvious the Giants and Mets wont be contending ...

Even so, the Flyers still stand in the way and, well, (in my best Goodfella's voice) "that don't look too good neither" ...

:

PS - when the hell is our first track event this upcoming year, I'm getting 'cabin fever' ..........................

CJ,

No Mets or Giants for me. (I'm one of the few around who actually root against the Giants. )

Really like the Rangers...was season ticketholder for many years until I moved when kids were born.

I'm with you with cabin fever and driving. I check out MotorSportreg all the time to see if anything is posted. I was going to test drive some cars this week but snow put big stop on that.

It will still be a few months till I'll be giving you multiple point bys (and andy too!) during a run. But I'll be doing it with a smile on my face and there will be no snow on the ground. Hoorah!

All the best for 2011.

Sampling one event doesnt prove anything, however if you sample over a longer rate and look at something that is easily measurable over a greater surface area, say rising ocean levels or amount of ice on at polar caps, global warming is clearly happening.
Clearly happening. No question.

I drove my C4S up to Stowe in northern Vermont for Christmas. It did brilliantly. On the way home to NYC on the day after, I ran into the blizzard but got home without incident.

A day or two later, I was out on the street with my cell phone and took a picture of a C4S cab sadly snowed (and then plowed) in. Happily, the next day it was completely shoveled out and the day after that, gone. It appeared none the worse for wear after the snow was removed.

My mom and dad live in Freehold, NJ. and they said it was unbelievable. Not much better here in CT.

It looks a little out of it's element. Would be better on a nice warm sunny day with top down.

It's still parked on my block but in a different space. The snow has melted and the car looks fine although it could use a wash. Maybe we underestimate our cars' toughness.
