That's most definitely a 986 Boxster.

May have been due, SOLELY, to the inability to get around other traffic blocking the roadbed....

December of 1980 here on the eastside we had to abandon our Jeep Cherokee Limited on 148th and Northup for that reason. Several days later still had to use my ability to drive the Jeep in the ditch to get around the myriad of abandoned FWD vehicles, many with "thrown" tire chains, on SR520.

Should have seen the slightly upsloped main entrance to the MS campus, blocked with Porsches, BMW's, etc, all askew to the proper direction of travel.

I can believe it. All because this region just cannot/refuses to equip to be able to clear the roads when it starts snowing.. our policy is 'let it clog and then melt away days later.. to hell with the drivers'.

There is a reason I NEVER buy wintertime specialty tires. On the RARE occassions of need I have tire chains for my RX300 at the ready. State budget being what it is I don't think we should be buying anymore snow clearing equipment, 3 day vacation instead.
