Default Light stays on

Yesterday the rear driver side light was out. I thought it was a bulb but this morning it was fine. Now I notice that the front side light is staying on without the keys! Don't want to drain the battery . Any ideas?

Blinker lever is up/down? It's a euro-parking thing.

Your rear driver side light may still have a bad contact though.

Does anyone READ the manual anymore?

I can justify for myself NOT reading a Porsche manual having bought these things and driven them since the 1970s, but for anyone NEW to a Porsche you need to do your homework!!

Sometimes I read the manual just for fun. I've read it many times. The night I brought the car home I stayed up half the night reading cover to cover. Some people are into that, others...not...

+1 - the only way I could stay "connected" to my car while not driving it. I heard a term for that today - OG - original geek. Yep, that's me.

Yes I have read the manual as a matter of fact. But, just like every other thing I've read in life, I can't remember a damned thing the day after...

All these years in school wasted!

Ok. I'll keep an eye on it. I took out the light enclosure today and everything seemed in place. Who knows. Maybe it's some electrical gremlin...

A friend of mine made a copy of the manual from a PDF file that I had and I actually carried the entire thing to Germany and read it on the plane!
