Just picked up a set of OEM Sport Classic Wheels for my 09 C4S coupe in GT Silver. I had the stock Carrera S II alloys before, and I started to get bored with how safe and monochromatic they were looking against my silver car. I am not anything close to being a "wheel" guy normally, but when I saw these on the Sport Classic, I had to have them -- the awesome Fuchs styling made me feel nostalgiac for the older 911s I originally fell in love with. I am really digging these new wheels as they totally change the look of the car in a good way IMHO

Happy Holidays Everyone,
Dave
p.s. thanks to the local guys at Wheel Enhancement for a nice deal and taking my old wheels in trade (who knows what i would have done with them -- custom coffee table maybe?).

Loving it. It's a Porsche and it even has Fuch's now. How can you go wrong. What % tint did you go with for your windows ? For your viewing pleasure I have posted a picture of my classic 911's Fuch's. The wheel has white gold metallic finish as a factory option to match the exterior paint.

Wow, they really look beatiful !
My car is meteor grey, but I found some pics in internet that don't look right with the car... I don't know if it's the quality of the pics or maybe the Sport Classic wheels look only good on light coloured cars ?

I too think they look better on the GT silver than the meteor grey. Alloy wheels may be as common as carrots nowadays but think about the '60's. They were virtually unheard of. When the first Fuch's (officially known as the Fuch's felge in German) wheels were fitted on the 911S, I understand that the cost was more than five times that of a painted steel item. Several other wheels came and went (cookie cutter, telephone dial etc) but no wheel made an impact anywhere even close to the Fuch's. They came in different styles (polished on the very first year 911's, most common type on the later ones the center painted anodized black which I love and some like mine with it's center painted in the color of the car's exterior)..but one thing is for sure. It truly changed the face of motoring. The 911 would not be the same without the Fuch's. Truly the most famous and distinctive Porsche wheel of all.
Dave and others, here is one more shot of mine just to add to the nostalgia. Dave can we have a nice close up shot of your just to see how close it resembles the design of the classic Fuchs.
