At recent track event day event, one of the instructors commented that his Bridgestone's are 95% as good as the PS2's at 70% the cost.
Having the tire and wheel insurance, Im hoping i get a unrepairable damage to my PS2s!!!

You'll get a lot of opinions on tires. I've had two of the OEM N-rated tires, the P Zero and the PS2, and I will say the OEM tires that I've been least impressed with on my two 997s to date has been the PS2.

Just to muddy up the water some more ... I just went through some shallow snow in my very worn out PS2, getting up a couple of hills and a steep driveway, and I was SHOCKED how well they did... albeit this is on C4S!

PS. Not that I EVER recommend summer tires in winter/snow, I just got caught at my parents before I've had a chance to swap out the wheels to my Michelin PA2 18s!

Since your PS2s are already paid for (presumably) and you appear to concede that they are marginally better than the Bridegstones, I'm failing to understand the logic here.

I'm sure that tire insurance is pro-rated for existing wear anyway.

I think he means, he likes to get em replaced for free, so they give him PS2 again! Meaning... he likes em!

right. My dealer replaced 1 of my rears which had 9000miles for no charge. I believe the charge to the inco was just under $600, which was what i paid for the insurance.
