997 19" wheels - best wheel for resale?
After some time with my beloved 997, I have started to have evil 991 thoughts take over my head..
But n the mean time, I have thought about getting a second set of OEM or replica wheels to have a different look. I like most of the current 997 19" wheels, my car is an arctic silver 997 c2s.
The ones I am thinking of immediately are the 5 star carrera classic 19", and the 997.1 turbo wheel 19", and the 997.2 "s" 5 spoke wheel. --or maybe some others?
I recognize there is a weight penalty with the turbos -- but have heard it is not too bad.
What wheel do you think would make the car more attractive to a future purchaser?

Do you mean like the ones in your avatar pic?
I like them because they are not all black -- they still have the silver lip around the outside. They remind me of the old fuchs wheels on early 911's
Black wheels are a tough pill for me to swallow though because they have always looked like steel wheels or wheels with too much brake dust on them

I do not believe that 1 OEM wheel will help you sell your car over any other OEM wheel. I will tell you that you will not get any extra money for an after market wheel either....You might be able to sell off after market wheels if they are forged and designed for the track as many are always looking of deals on used wheels for the track...but most of those for the 997 car will be looking for 9x18 and 12x18 and not 19" wheels for the track.

[QUOTE=Edgy01;they are the widest wheel ever produced for a 911/Carrera model in history.[/QUOTE]
Are you saying that in a rhetorical sense /seat of the pants estimation based on what you've seen on the road or from actual Porsche production numbers?
