That car is freakin hot - enjoy. Thats the perfect 997. 2WD, wide azz, X51, PSE etc. For the street, it doesnt get much better than that.

Wow. Leader. your car is beautiful. I would be curious about the differences in the drive compared with your 2006 as I have a 05 C2S and was wondering how different, other than the PDK, this was from mine from a driver perspective.. Thanks.

First impression? It's very different than my 2006 S. I'm a happy guy!
Looks beautiful! Are you going to tint the windows at all? With the silver, I think that would be a striking match to the wheels - not too dark, though.Originally Posted by Leader
I know how you guys love pictures...so forgive the over(up)load, but here are a few from Day One. Picked it up today at Porsche Santa Barbara and had a terrific drive back to Los Angeles on a clear, sunny afternoon. Tomorrow...more rain...so, I'll read the frickin' manual(s). More driving over New Year's Weekend.First impression? It's very different than my 2006 S. I'm a happy guy!

Thats Awesome....I am glad it worked out for you. Must have felt like crap when it got heated a little.Originally Posted by gravedgr
Normally, I would say you are right...unless the person placing the order is willing to walk away, which I was. Ultimately they stepped up to the plate and delivered on their promise to take care of me (re: trade) and the deal is moving forward as planned.

All due respect, but aftermarket tinted windows don't belong on sports cars, especially classy ones like Porsches, Ferraris, etc. It looks like you're trying too hard to be cool. JMO

Since Leader and his beautiful silver GTS are in LA he won't have that problem. Originally Posted by nazhat

You need tinted windows if you live in the desert. I'll continue to try real hard to be cool.Originally Posted by Mike in CA
