911 vs 997

I sold my '88 Carrera just before I ordered my 2006 997S. After five years of driving what I consider to be the best car I've ever owned, I sold the '06 and ordered a 2011 Carrera GTS.
Do I miss the 1988 911? Sure, sometimes. But, for pure driving pleasure (in almost any conditions), the 997 is just an amazing car.
Best advice...get one of each. (I know, I know...not much help.)
If you can only have one, the 997 is the choice...at least for me.
