also, forgot to add: another poster in another thread (apologies for not giving direct credit, but i cant remember where or find it now) mentioned that this color combo only looks good when the car is lowered from stock. i absolutely agree. when i first got the wheels, the "US fender gap" appeared to be even more pronounced and i almost regretted the purchase. however, since i had already planned a future suspension upgrade, i decided to reserve judgement. boy am i glad i kept the wheels now!

Here are pics of mine. I prefer the silver lip on the sports and have not regretted the decision to go with black. If you go with black wheels...I recommend black tips as well

My tip of the day......

Powder coated tips will not last long....try ceramic coated tips.

Harvey,

you are absolutely right...its been four years since I had them done but I initially powder coated...the picture you see...and one trip from Seattle to Spokane caused discoloration from heat....Barrier took them back for ceramic coating no charge....and no issues over the last four years.

Thanks! That's what I have. I'll have to find someone in the Atlanta area that can paint them.

Matching the Carrera Sports in Meteor is also a good look.
