The BTA that is out now is the latest iteration, and seems to do quite well. There have been some firmware updates/patches to resolve things like outbound volume, or settings reverting to default, all resolved. The echo issue was in a previous version, and seems to have been resolved. But we stand behind it either way, so rest assured if something is not right, we will make it right.

I'm in on this. If I would like Phone and iPod integration which one do I need? Or maybe both? Who installs it? Do I need to go to a dealership?

The BTA unit supports nearly every phone on the market. Dension, in Europe, does not have access to all US phones, and they don't update their web info often enough.
Constantine: the Combo assuming you have PCM will give you what you need, and the iPhone will stream audio via Bluetooth. You would only need one device (no additional iPod).
Many customers install their systems and we send detailed information, including threads here on Rennlist and elsewhere showing how its done. Dealer may install for you too, and if you have no cd changer, a dealer needs to program the vehicle for one (10 minutes) after the Dension is installed.

Details for purchase of the discounted Dension system were just released to the first round of Group Buy folks who emailed us. If you did not receive this email information, contact us immediately.
