Default Price Check on '07 997 C4S

I've always wanted a 911 and in need of a DD right now. I believe the seller will take $53k. Is this a good price assuming everything checked out? TIA.

Well, www.nada.com has this to "say" about the car's price...

Coupe 2D Carrera 4S Pricing

Rough Average Clean Clean
Trade-In Trade-In Trade-In Retail

Base Price $47,700 $51,150 $54,050 $61,200

Mileage: 23,000 $5,025 $5,025 $5,025 $5,025

Bose
Prem. Stereo $450 $450 $450 $500

TOTAL PRICE $53,175 $56,625 $59,525 $66,725

If the car is as described the asking price seems low, too low.

If she wanted to sell the car for $54K she could just drive it the dealer and walk away with a check. Dealer would spend next to nothing on the car and turn it around for $66.7K.

I also don't like these "assisting my friend" deals.

Sort of smells fishy.

Sincerely,

Macster.

I agree - that's a very good price for a clean car.

The only minus is that it's not CPO so your warranty runs out in a year. These cars are expensive when something goes wrong! BUT if you buy the same car from a dealer with +2 years CPO you would probably have to pay around $60k.

Its a steal IMO.

However, it also sounds fishy as the post is a bit suspicious and dealers could buy it at that price does make it look like a scam.

Well, Miramar is not too far from Sarasota, I reckon the OP could arrange a meet with the seller to see if it is a legit sale.

I got a similar 07 C4S model but with the sport exhaust and it had 28k non cpo for $58k from a dealer, just make sure you have a PPI , service log printout and DME scan done though...

Spoke to the seller. Seems legit. I'm going to see it next week.

If it's legit, and in as good of a condition, it's a STEAL, don't even hesitate!

PS. Post deleted by poster... wondering why?

Great find. There are deals out there to be had. Some people would rather not handle a transaction through a dealer. Some dealers will give you less if you are not buying a new car through them.

And believe it or not, some people are not out to steal from you. And the car might be a real gem. It sounds like you found a gem. You were the right buyer at the right time. Good catch!
