+1, AND Cayenne is basically build on Toureg platform, for instance for 2012 both models got smaller and lighter and actually to me, Toureg looks even better!

My wife just ordered a Q5. If the Cajun was out now, we'd be all over that in a heartbeat. We looked at the Cayenne, but it was too big for her needs. A small SUV is exactly what she wanted. The BMW X3 was a close second choice, but she liked everything about the Audi Q5 just a little bit more.

I still doubt it. I know Porsche has designed cars for VW in the past ( the 924 was supposed to be a VW) but in reality, VW has had much more experience in the design of such ( light truck type) vehicles than Porsche has had ( Touran, Transporter, Crafter/LT28, Iltis etc.) and, of course, much greater resourses. On the other hand Porsche does get hired to do work for other companies.

I'm afraid it might already be too late! First they dropped the oil dip stick, now there's no handbrake! I hate seeing the 911 made bigger and bigger.

"Cajun" isn't bad considering the alternative was "Coonass."

Porsche is not a car company. Porsche is an engineering consulting company which also produces cars. Weissach has designed under contract many cars for many marques (German and foreign) and continues to do so.

I agree with you, but I think that has nothing to do with parallel vehicle lines. I think it has to do with market demands. Markets driven by new customers who are not sports enthusiasts.
