Default Next 911 interior

Check out leftlanenews.com

Very Panamera-like as anticipated, with traditional 911 gauge cluster. Looks like a real winner.

Thanks for the info, looks interesting.

I like the air vents... but not the rest, way too many buttons for my liking and looks a lot more complicated, less sporty... Panamera-like yes for sure, but I don't think that's the right way to go for a sports car?!

I'd have to see it in person but I kind of like it. More complication doesn't necessarily mean less sporty....

LOL. I LOVE all those buttons on the F1 steerings wheels, but not on the console like that... that's more for GT and Sedan cars!

There's something wrong with that wheel. I can't find the push/pull gear shifters ??

No doubt it's because those F1 guys just couldn't be trained in how to grip the wheel properly and the push/pull buttons kept getting in the way....

Not sure I like it. 911 interiors have been relatively "open" in the middle there. That Panamera or 928-esque middle divider just doesn't feel right for the car (for me at least).

I'd have to see the whole package. More shots here...

I've sat in the new Cayenne and Panamera, and it's true what the mags say: The new center console WORKS. While it seems anachronistic, the buttons make access easy unlike many of the menu-based systems.

It might take a few minutes to get to know where the buttons are located, but it's logical--and good looking, especially in a sports car.

Does anyone here have an extra $120K to spare a friend about a year from now?

If they eliminate the 6speed option, I'll either be keeping the '09 turbo longer, or would probably move to another marque. Way too busy console for my driving pleasure.

But of course, like others, I'll wait and see....and I'm not salivating for 'the next one' right now. Quite happy with the '09 Turbo cab.
