Pre Inspection Advise on used 997
Everyone im in the market for my first 997 (2006 +). Possible S. Still debating the "S" version. I'm looking for advise in the Seattle Area. Traditionally I have gone to Akers with my previous porsche but now live on the eastside. Looking for a preinspection and wondered about Chris's German or squires's autowerke. Any one have a recommendation for inspection and future work from either of these? or do I just go to the dealer Barriers and do everything? Thanks all in advance and if your know of any good 997s in the Puget Sound let me know. I'll keep everyone posted on the hunt.
Cheers

If you plan to track/DE, an S is the way to go. If you never plan on it and know you're not the "wish I upgraded, regret-type" the a base will be great.
Akers is great as is Squires. Squires is the Akers of the E. side. I've had great experiences with both.
Barrier is pretty good as dealers go, but still more money and more likely to get you mixed results.
Happy hunting!

If you plan to track regularly, then "S" is the way to go, otherwise, C2 is PLENTY for street driving!

I had the same debate, C2 or C2S. I went with the regular C2 and don't regret it. It is perfect for regular street driving and the 2 DE events I do per year. I could not justify the extra dough for my needs. I am very happy with my car having had it for 4 days now.
Happy hunting for the perfect car. There are many to choose from.
