So, finalizing some details regarding the new 09 C2S purchase. DME report came back fine, one hit at level 1 at the 24th operating hour which is no big deal. Carfax indicated that there was a recall on the car. Searching through the forums suggested that it was related to the exhaust hanger cracking - is this true?

Hopefully, will post pics when I take delivery on Friday.

hangar is quick fix, the hangar is stiff and causes cracks elsewhere.

Here is a link to the workshop campaign related to the muffler clamps. Check to see if your VIN is covered. As indicated above, it is a quick fix.

I had a cracked muffler as a result of this issue prior to the recall. Easy fix at the dealer.
