Hi everyone.
I am reading frequent recommendations to get a clear bra for the front. A few questions.
(1) Names of preferred installers in New Jersey? Prefer Central NJ but will travel for the right person
(2) Should I do the full hood and fenders?
(3) What are the peferred brand products. I assume that there are brands that seem to hold up better.
Thanks
Mark

Lots of people put down these things.
My car has a dark color and and I do highway driving dailey - so I thought it would be a good idea.
It works great - 1 year and no chips, still looks new, and easy to maintain.
Have the hood, headlights, and bumper done. Skip the fenders - you don't need it.
Caution - this is a very "installer dependent" item. look at the person's work before they do it on your car - technique is everyhting.
Worst case scenario, it can always be peeled off.
For hood, headlights, and bumper I paid @ $500 and was extremely please when it was put on and the same - 1 year later.

Lots of downsides with a film install - that said I've paid to have it installed on my last two cars!
#1 cause of stone chips is tailgating at high speeds. If you don't do this, you probably don't need protection film! Also, the tracks I have been on were cleaner than most roads and gravel or stones on them were not an issue.

To the OP: A clearbra is a great choice to protect the nose. My car had it done day 1 and I bought it at 24K miles and if it didn't have one it would have had a hand full of chips (as seen from the damage the bra took) but the bra protected it. I replaced it with a new one and detailed in between and the nose looks NEW.
