Default Suspension Knocking?

I've got a possible wierd problem. I'm hearing a knocking sound coming from what I think is the suspension on really rough roads. I guess it could possibly be a seat rattling over the rough roads. It's hard to tell with all of the road noise. Does anyone have any idea what this could be or does anyone have this problem. I notice it most when braking over really bumpy roads. I don't notice anything odd with the handling however.

I think we all have it, though many may never hear it based on the roads we drive. I think it's just something like the full extension / rebound of the rear shocks / springs. I'm no technician, but I know what you are talking about and know I get it from time to time and there's nothing wrong with it, just a sporty suspension being asked to absorb a nasty road.

Is it from one particular corner, or all?

It's certainly not all corners, I seem to notice it most when the road is bumpy and slowing down and then making a sharp turn.
