I think I have to finally get a front license plate holder, still can't decide, Tow hook, or Skene design (under bumper install).
What do you guys think:
Skene Design

All else being equal, the under bumper design looks best to me. If this is going to be an on/off installation then ease of repeat removal/install is a factor. If it's more or less permanent then no big deal. From your avatar it appears your car is a 997.1 so partially blocking the center air duct is not an issue as it would be with my car.

PS. You can get the Skene design mounted with double-tape and it supposed to hold well, but I don't trust that so rather mount it.

Very creative solution! Have you been stopped yet? Or does it just look good enough that no one (meaning law enforcement) has noticed yet?

I just installed the JCS this weekend after getting a ticket in downtown SF. It was simple to install, took about 10 minutes, and looks fine. I may get the fix it ticket signed off and just remove it the next time I was the car. Who know.... I love the clean look and am willing to pay a "Beauty Tax" as my wife calls it.

dont know about you guys but i simply made a frame that had a larger backing that i can stick on the bumper. the plate has 2 bolts connected to it that fits exactly where the holes of the original plate holder are. my plates are right where they are suppose to be but no holes. i used high quality 3m tape and for the past 2 months, driving on highways, up to 220kph, and the rain no problem. i did put a safety line just in case it falls off. the line is connected to the body. if the plates do fall which i dont think it will, they will hang and make some noise on the bumper. it wont fall of and get lost.. seriously i would think this is a simple idea. looks original but no holes no problem if i wanted to remove it i would do something similar to the rear insignia, i would use dental floss to cut the tape..simple
