You have to think along the lines of Porsche. Many years ago the fixed spoilers were quite popular but as the drivers of these cars mature, they have a tendency to avoid that 'boy racer' look. Thus, Porsche adopted the articulated spoilers that deploy when they are needed, yet close back to retain the classic 911 lines when at rest. They did this for a reason. Many object to these things. For the correct vintage 911 we have come to accept them--I don't think that look has really caught on yet for the 996 and 997 cars. The GT3s are essentially race cars so that is a different market.

I would avoid an Aero Kit car completely if buying.

Like Dan said - the boy racer look, and it isn't a GT3 car, so it is pretty much just for bling.

Less subjectively though, you rarely get your full investment back on trying to "touch up" the car in that way with a modification.
