Default Controlling iPod Audiobooks Playback

I listen to Audible audiobooks through my car's sound system using an iPod Touch as the storage.

It works fine but I would like to be able to scroll back a few seconds when I miss something (either because the nav system spoke over the book or because my attention was distracted.) It's easy to scroll back and forth on the iPod but seems to be impossible using the Porsche's PCM head unit. I went into the PCM manual and did not find anything but I may have missed something because I am not sure what the right words are to describe what I want to do.

So ... is there a way to 'scrub' back and forward using the PCM on-screen controls or the buttons that work with it?

I should probably mention that I have a 2010 car with Bose and that the iPod is the current version and has 64GB.

Hm... good question. I know there is track forward/back, but that's not what you want. Putting hands on the iPod also isn't practical or what you want (and not safe while driving).
