Here is another photo. I really like the way GT Silver changes shades in different light.
As for my 27 year giant leap from the 911 SC to the 997 I'm enjoying discovering the similarities and differences. The Carrera S is much more refined, but I can still hear the familiar engine note of the unique flat 6, and the handling dynamics let you know where the engine is.
Biggest difference? Air conditioning. AC in a 911 that works - I've never had that before!
