Thats a good one as well . There are tons of silver/gray/black ones for sale .

Dont get me wrong, silver/gray/black is ok. Its not horrid but its definitely not Mexico or Riviera Blue .

So that's the conundrum isn't it? The 19" 5 spoke Carrera Classics look great and are easy to clean, so easy in fact you see every spec of dirt behind the spokes!
Net result you spend as much time keeping these puppies clean as any other wheel!
As for the picture, I'd removed all four wheels and cleaned them up for a show-n-shine.

*Silver/gray/black shows great taste

Did I miss anything ? Frankly it shows lack of imagination IMO . Every car on the road is silver/gray. Sure it doesnt show the dirt but anyone who thinks a Porsche doesnt get noticed on the road needs me to sell them some GREAT swamp land in FL .
I love gray (my 3 Porsches have been Seal, Atlas, and now Meteor) but it had nothing to do with hating colors. Keep in mind that MOST dealers don't stock Porsches in colors other than silver/black/gray. At my local, I've seen a couple of reds, a couple of blues, etc. The place I think had the right idea was Euroclassics in Midlothian, VA. They would order all kinds of really cool color/leather combos, lots of options, etc. Unfortunately their stock now looks like silver/black/gray.

My next one will be ordered and will be a paint-to-sample car.

And guess Chris where my car came from? Euroclassics in Midlothian, VA. Ballsy bunch. My car stood for 6 months before it sold but then some people do the math on a $92k C2 and say no thanks I'll take the Silver C2S for $8k less.

Marite is similar to Audi's Nogaro blue, a great color.
Bought a 2005 Audi S4 in silver due to it being on special for $2000 less.
Worst mistake!

If I had bought the blue one, I'd still have it.
Silver one is gone.

Pioneer Centers in San Diego also use to carry exciting colors.

I will get a 997 in 6 months and SY or GR are only standard colors I will consider.
If I can find any of these blues I'm in!
Orange would be great too.

These are unique cars that look better in unique colors.
In Los Angeles black seems to be the only color Porsche sells cars in.
It's so boring!
You can keep the triple black.

Why don't you tell us how you REALLY feel about silver and black!?

Gotta love the Blues.

Someone asked if there were any Riviara/Mexico/Martime on the market, which I've been surfing hard for pretty much the last 45 days. 1-Mexico C2 Tiptronic and that's all I've seen. It looks to have sold in July. I think somewhere there's a paint-to-sample sky-blue out there, but also cabrio/Tip.

Man, the only grey I want to live with after purchase is my hair. Today's greys remind me of Porsche's 80's blues, which from memory included Prussian, Iris, Nautic and Midnight. Do we really need "Seal" and "Meteor" grey as common colors?

Forgot to add that any of the 50 Club Azurro Blue 997s would also be candidates.

Bruce....your car is beautiful!!

Waiting for the right color, especially if you're planning on keeping the car, is soooooo important. After you get it it brings a big smile to your face every time you look at her!

Your car is perfect.

Any plans to sell it in the next couple of years?
