I have a 2009 Cayenne S. I'm looking for a little more hp and a little more fun. What are some things I should look for/ stay away from when getting an ECU upgrade? Additionally, are the performance chips that are $80 that promise "huge gains" worth anything?

You might have better luck asking over in the Cayenne forums than here, but the general consensus is ECU upgrades alone on modern, normally-aspirated Porsches add little horsepower. For measurable gains, you're going to have to upgrade mechanical parts somewhere, perhaps in conjunction with a flash upgrade.
