Default air vents/dash trim removal for painting

anybody have any experience with removing the silver colored plastic trim pieces, the air vents and the cup holders door on our dashboard? i want to paint these items interior color but not so sure i could remove them properly without damaging them. maybe someone out there can share their experience. i want to make my car "very exclusive" by doing "exclusive mods" myself.

For the center air vent see the link. The side vents come out in a similar fashion

For the dash trim and cup holders, try this link. Scroll down to Interior removal/Trim and Cup Holder. This is for a Cayman, but the method is similar

Hope this helps
