My experience driving a ferrari is that I could pick up any thirteen year old boy I wanted, but women just don't care. (Fortunately, I have no Jacksonian tendencies.)

I think the point he is trying to make, however self serving, is that living well is the best revenge. Oh, well.......

I'd say him driving by with a supermodel in the passenger seat of a 1996 chevy chevette would have had a more profound effect...especially if she knew that very very nice F355s are a mere $60,000 check away.

That's great! The guy proved to her he could borrow enough money to make payments on a Ferrari. She must have been really impressed.

Oh wait! That was a few years ago when he could still have his job at McDonald's and get a mortgage on a five million dollar house too.

Haha, so now I'll have to further the lameness. I don't remember where, but I definitely came across this story a few weeks back somewhere else on the intraweb.

Your car feeds your ego. In my book, that's not a good thing.

Really?! I can't believe you guys think girls don't judge a man based on how shinny his car is. Well, I went to school with a ton of stuck up (fill in the blank) because what car you drove was a huge deal. It's the first thing that they think they can gauge your wealth off of. In my case that would be zero. I've talked to girls before that the first question out of their mouth was what car do you drive? 1987 ford taurus being the response of choice. My campus was littered with brand new benz's, s5's, isf's, range rovers, m3's, f360's, and there was even a Lamborghini superleggara driven by a freshman girl. I once overheard a few girls chatting about said freshman girl and one said "yeah, its a lamborghin, but I heard she got it used, that's so gross" God forbid we go out and buy a crappy quarter million dollar car for a measly $150k. The girl doing the talking must of bought her enzo brand new when they first came out. So maybe you guys don't think girls judge you by your car, but I've sure run into it a lot.

Sometimes it makes me wonder why I own one.

For pure epic 997 threads, this is one of the all time greats:

Default Generally Women Dont Care About Sports Cars

As someone else said think they ride rough, mess up their hair and are noisy. Its all about the male ego.

This is going to sound horrible but I have 2 Audis and the women love both of them. One of them is an Audi S car and they even like that.

On the the other hand I have friends that have Porsches and Ferraris and the women generally dont like them. They think they are childish and the guy is compensating in other areas.

Go figure.

I agree. Most women couldn't care less what kind of car you drive.

And you wound't want to have anything to do with those who are so superficial to really care (unless it was the girl in my avatar--I would make an exception for her).

Here is the original link.

I found the reading to be real interesting. I know that you guys like
to talk about things like this. I am truly amazed at the direction
you guys went and the direction the Ferrari guys went.

I would guess that the Ferrari guy's go thru more headaches
and divorces then guys with Porsches. It will be interesting
to see where this thread goes.

Thanks guys for sparking my interest!!!

Wait...wait...this is too good.

FerrariChat thread was started by a guy named Paul.

You are named Paul.

Both live in the San Francisco area.

FerrariChat thread is entitled 355 meets ex girlfriend.

Your thread here is entitled 997 meets ex girlfriend.

You have a 997.

Overcompensate much, Paul?
