Default Back seat luggage net or bungee system?

Are there any available or is anyone using a workable system with seats down. Just wanted so know what everyone is doing. I haven't atempted anything yet but was wondering if the child seat tether points might be used or are being used by anyone.Everything,... duffles or hard case...shifts forward when braking. I did see some strap set-ups in my search. Thanks! all.

$80/seat back, FWIW

I believe in strapping things down well. I adopted the use of nylon straps which I routed through the back of the rear seat backs. Works extremely well. Can be made with about $8 of materials.

Thanks all. Nice system Edgy. I might try a similar setup with velcro type closures. Brendo...where did the film for your seats come from and who has to install it?

Edgy (or anyone) please suggest a good source for long straps with adjustable clip fasteners.

My first call would be some place like REI or your local outdoor store. That looks like basic backpack technology to me.

Any reasonable hiking store sells that plus any length of inch wide ribbon line. Then simply sew the connectors on. Make sure you buy sufficient length for the typical load(s) you will carry. I got all I needed with one trip to REI.

i had my clear-bra installer do them. they used 3M i think. i'd take a photo but they really don't show up much. it's basically just covering the main part of the seat, where the little devils would (and do) kick.

The 3M and straps are great ideas... I didn't put anything back there - when I did rub against it, I was able to wipe it off. I don't think the straps would've fit around our luggage, but everything was pressure-fit in there (i.e. seat pushed back until the suitcases were snug). Good luck, mambodoc!

Definitely a pressure fit! I have to look into the film...great idea. I like the straps but might not have the patience for the buckles...thats why I thought to consider a strap with velcro or fastex release buckles. The materials can be had a REI, Eastern Mountain Sports...even Patagonia has mens belts with similar buckles that can be usea as tie downs...some have neat patterns/colors too....if not in their online web specials...maybe at their Dillon Montana outlet store.

Nice solutions. I also carry a large black bath towel to cover bags during lunch stops. With the stock window tint you can see very little in the back seat.

Hey Chris...isn't your build date 08/08? I thought we had identical (almost) cars. Any PDK rough downshifting?...mine does...I believe dealer can flash to remedy.
