How to replace gauge faces?
Hi, I am finally getting my life long dream of owning a Porsche, should pick it up this weekend. Will post pics as soon as I get it. 2005 C2S convertible with lots of Techart upgrades. The only thing I am thinking about changing are the guage faces. I know that FVD and cargraphic sells various color faces, and I have found the cluster removal thread, but I can not find any diy for the actual removal/replacement of the faces themselves. Looks like I need to remove the needles and make sure they are replaced in exactly the same place. Has anyone done this and can share any lessons learned, tips and/or pics? Thanks.

Seems like a specialty. Find a skilled specialty guy and pay him to change out the dials. Would be so embarrassing (and depressing) IMO to DIY and have results showing misaligned, jumpy and inaccurate needles. FWIW, I seem to remember Porsche dealer service can make the actual bench-top change of the colored dials, but might be wrong.
