Anyone seen where my 997S is?
Since I had to turn in the car early while on lease from PFS, I'm wondering where it is now.
This 997S has PCCB's, Aerokit, Sport Chrono, Sport Shift, Sport Exhaust, Adaptive SS, Sport wheel, plus Sirius in PCM, 6 CD, Bose, Nav, and a K-40 build-in.
Black/black, yellow seatbelts, new Bridgestone RE050A's.
Anyone know who has it?

Thanks, **sigh** it was a great car when I had it.
Due to the economy, I had no choice but to surrender it. I did try to get a fellow Rennlist member to take it and the payments, but it fell through and the car went back to Porsche Financial Services to auction.
What really sucks is no fellow Rennlist member took it or anyone in our regional club. Most were holding off too due to the times of the economy and just dared not to take on additional debt, although a very low one in payments.
Payment was very low for this highly option car as at that time, I put a large cap cost down as I was going to take it at the end anyway.
I just hope it went to someone who knows what they got. I put on a ton of options and a few extra items (Sirius via PCM-Cayenne unit) as well as K-40 system and clear paint protection film.
At least someone also got it with all new tires... damn!

Things got so bad, I had to do a short sale on my own house, but I put down very little (not because I didn't have the money, but because large downpayments go against my better judgement). I lost anyway in the sense my credit rating took a hit for a short sale, but at least I didn't lose tens of thousands of dollars of downpayment.
I plan to do the same with the next car I get...as low a downpayment as possible.

I too wonder what happened to my C4S.
All I know is it went to Colorado where it was sold.
Anyone here buy an 06 SY C4S with Carrera Classic wheels in CO?
Hope you get back into P some time soon Deanski.

No idea whatever happened to it. Maybe I'll have the dealer run a check to see if it shows up on the dealer system.
Thanks!

About every two years I start looking to trade cars and open a carfax account. I than run the vin numbers of all my old cars to see how they're doing.
