Well I spoke to the auto transport folks last night and it sounds like the truck will be in SF this afternoon. I'm currently evaluating a number of a different strategies to avoid going insane for the next several hours.

Of course, watching the World Cup will be a good distraction. But my mind is elsewhere.

oh man...I feel your pain! I've shipped three cars from the U.S. to me here in Dubai and the last shipment (my 911) got to me so bad I actually snuck into port and watched it unload from the cargo ship!

Some ideas to keep yourself busy today until arrival:

clean the garage

go to local auto store an buy stuff for car

buy a pack of cigarettes and a crack *****

 

Well if you have some time to watch a movie, I'd suggest some of the vintage racing films...maybe something with Steve McQ.
