Very sad. Thoughts and prayer out for the surviving BMW drivers.

Shoot! I was on the EXACT same road just last month testing Boxser Spyder and 997.2 C4S. There could be some IDIOT drivers on that road getting excited going to Nurburgring! I suspect it was the BMW drivers being silly, as he must more proffesional than that... someone came to the other's lane!

I read it was the LFA driver that went into the other lane.

Tells us about those Spyder/C4S tests. Were these dealer test drives or something else?

I am writing a long report... too busy at work since I got back. The cars were provided by Porsche itself part of Porsche Sport Cup weekend at Nurburging. I had VIP access as we are partners at work, and knew the organizers.

Full report of Nurburging tracking, trying the new Spyder, and new C4S... some would be quite surprising!

We do not expect that you write a report at work... Just do it on your spare time.

Yup, I just re-read it, totally missed that part. Shocking for a 67yr old pro driver!

Problem is, since doing a long report... spare time's spent here doing small talk/posts!

Now motivated to get it done!

IMO, the Japanese driver drove on the wrong side of the road. His mind and muscle memory told him to stay left at that moment... In Japan, they drive on the left side (Right hand driving).

probably a health problem. this guy had more time on the 'ring than any other asian and would not have simply driven on the wrong side accidentally
