Wouldn't they make more money by having a member who posts on here night and day, like OC Ben used to?

 

It's a business decision. If a guy comes into your bar (or other place of business) and you don't like him for whichever reason you can throw him out. No big deal.

Seems to me the guy who gets thrown out does so habitually because of accumulating negative intentions and actions which result in bad karma; but that's just a silly belief of mine.

 

I've been banned from a forum for pointing out that a dealer who was touting his wares was not the manufacturer he claimed to be but actually just a middle man. They obviously valued the dealers participation more than mine.

Not to say that was the case here - I have no idea what transpired.

 

Yeah, RL of course have the right to have whoever it wants on the site. I was just questioning whether it was a decision driven by money, rather than something else. As for OC Ben, I have no idea what happened.

 

I got thrown out of 6SpeedOnline for citing a company and providing a hyperlink to a company that wasn't one of their paid sponsors.

 

That is odd as I've done that too with no issues.

I believe OC Ben was banned from that site too and his banning from here was not his first time he was banned.

But like others have said ge was good at waxing a car and useing the search function

 

Besides the handy car waxing tips, I wonder how many guys liked him (and miss him) because of the spectacle he created?

Kinda like they secretly enjoyed watching the drama of him hacking at some hapless, apparently insolent, newbie in a gladiator ring.

Is that what was going on?

If so, I'm sure someone else will come along to take his place. Might have to wait 'til a better economy and the 998 for more contenders.

 

Maybe its time that the Gods become a loving and forgiving one rather than a punitive punishing one. Its time for peace and love....maybe by the holidays all will be forgiven. Yeah, when the Jews, Christians, and Muslims start singing Kumbaya!

OC Ben is 997 less now anyway so I am sure he is not so bothered at being banned.

If I did not have a 997 I am sure I would lose interest in this site quite quickly.

 

Ben was somewhat misrepresented within the site by the managers of the site. Not all the truth was actually told (by the site owners).

 

Nothing like an OC Ben thread to get everyone out to play.

I miss Ben and his posts. I hope he is doing OK .

 

i didnt know he was banned... i thought he was gone after he sold his car for a good price... i almost bought his car...

 

He was a jerk to so many posters (especially new ones to the board) and it's much more pleasant around here without him. Just my 2 cents.

 

Just found this at Amazon (seriously). Maybe the administrators of Rennlist read it. Should be a warning to the rest of us!

I apologize if it's impolite or obscene, but Amazon DOES sell it, it's a real book and it actually looks like an interesting read.
