Hi All,

I was hoping someone from the Cleveland area could help me out. I am looking at purchasing a Lexus SUV from a small dealer in the NE Cleveland metro area, and would like to get an independent inspection done as I may be buying sight unseen.

Can anyone suggest a Lexus/Toyota dealer or independent shop that works on these in that area that could perform a solid PPI for me?

Try KEI Carbody in Chagrin Falls. I had them replace the rear shocks on my old UZJ100 Land Cruiser (very difficult job) right before we moved out of the area, and liked them a lot. It took them an hour longer than the book time, and one of the guys burnt his arm with a welding torch, but they stuck to the estimate. I'd trust them.

I would avoid Metro Toyota; they plucked $50 for a diagnostic on a horn problem, didn't remove a single screw, and brilliantly suggested that I have them replace one part at a time, starting with the relay. Clowns. Don't know about the Lexus dealer.
