Hey folks,

I'm heading to Vegas for a few days and noticed there is a driving school at the track that offers laps and basic training with a 997.2 S PDK. Does anyone have any experience with that? I'll be there for a few events and was hoping to get some play time on the track.

I haven't tried that one, but I would if we were heading that way. $40 a lap on a road course, with insurance, an instructor, and a video souvenir of the excursion? Hell yes. I think I'd be tempted by one of the combo packages where you get five laps in the Porsche and then five in a Ferrari F430 or a Lambo.

Very reasonable prices. Unless you have the self control of a monk, you can dump the cost of one of those rides in the same two hours in a casino and have nothing at all to remember.

Well, since I don't gamble, this will have to do!

Neither do I. Just didn't want to sound like a monk!

I remarked to a fellow golfer that I didn't gamble when we go to Las Vegas so Cindy and I save plenty of money for food and shows. He replied that he never leaves the table to eat, so he saves plenty of money to gamble. Different strokes and all that.
