Default Friday Project @ SharkWerks with OZ Ultraleggera Wheels

This basalt black 2006 997S project came into factory aerokit option and came into us for the EVOMSit software upgrade (tuned for 91 octane), the EVOMS V-Fflow intake and a set of 19 inch black OZ Ultraleggera monobloc wheels.

Here she is in stock form:

The V-Flow intake installed:

Calibrating the EVOMSit software for 91 octane and improved throttle response:

A close up of the OZ Wheels installed. They're quite light at 21 pounds (front) & 24 pounds (rear) and very well priced:

Ready to go home:

They are also very soft and bend quite easily.

We've been racing with these wheels for a few years now, on two cars and we've bent a boat load of 'em from hitting the curbing. I'd guess one good pothole should tweek one of those rims into a wobble. I think the owner may be rim shopping again soon after bending a couple of these.

But they look great!

Nice work, Alex. The OZ Ultraleggera wheels give the Porsche a very different look. Sharp!

Ultraleggera wheels and Hankook tires? This must be a low budget project. Those wheels look cheap, although anything is better than the lobster forks.

Hey Phil sorry to hear that and there's a warranty but not my first choice either. I wanted to do the P40s
