Default next 911 purchase

Is the current economic meltdown affecting your next 911 purchase? I wanted to pick up a 930 on the side, but def. will be putting that purchase off until the Fall. Maybe you werent planning on buying anything for a couple of years and current conditions won't affect that purchase. At least prem gas should cheap. On balance, what say you?

My plan is to keep my 06 Carrera and pick up a 1960's 911 in good condition. But that won't happen for another year or so...

Wait for the 991/998 MY2. No problems with the C2S, still enjoy it as a DD.

Have had my '09 C2S for less than a year. Love it, and no plans for a new 911 in the forseeable future. Next Porsche will be a Cayenne to replace my wife's Highlander, soon.

I don't buy these cars every other year like many of you do. I keep them for many years.

I have a few classic cars many of which I have owned for years.

My oldest classic the 1975 TR6 I have owned for 18 years.

My 2005 C2S is just another classic car to me and it will stay in the fleet for good so no plans to change or buy any other Porsche at all.

I keep my newer cars an average of 10 years...have to wait till 2017! My wife too...she will be due in 2012....maybe I can get her to switch cars with me and then I can do something in 2012!!! I told her she looks great in red.

Good thing I wasn't planning on buying any cars soon because so far this month I lost enough in the stock market to buy a new Turbo. With lots of options.

The stability and seeming raise in price for '05/'06 C2S has put a serious damper on my plan to gut one out for a fun DIY track car. It's got me looking the 996 route, which is still totally cool...but honestly, my heart tells me to wait til I can do it to a 997.

The 997 is a keeper for many years to come. I'll change the boxster in about 3 years for newer. I'm looking for a 1973-1975 914 for track use and occational spin.

I'm going to wait for the 991 or whatever the next model is, if that at all. I might skip one generation and get the next M5 instead.

Have ordered most likely my last 911 a Turbo S Cab with lots of carbon fiber goodies. Will be fifty next B day and plan on keeping till I retire. I see getting a 928 Panam if they build it as soon as i get these four kids out of college.
