Just got our renewal with Liberty Mutual 300/600/300
$500 deductible on collision/theft $1289 year.
Mid 50's immaculate driving record

The liability premium is the same for all of our cars (4), the differences are in the comprehensive, by comparison our 2006 CR-V is $706/year.

All of our insurance is with LM

I know part of the reason our premium is high is that we "stack" our uninsured coverage.

Every insurance company has their own "sweet spot" of those they prefer to insure. When I got my quote for the C2 Cab it was about $700 a year all in $1000 deduct. I asked the agent why it was about $1000 a year less than I was paying in 1974 for my 1970 911 in 1974 dollars??? He wasn't too polite when he said "you're old now" you're in our lowest rate class of driver. Couple this with qualifying for the seniors discount at Denny's and I'm just tickled all over about "being old".
