Default 2005 CarreraS Coupe, What Should I Ask?

I am considering selling my 2005 S coupe, arctic silver with full cocoa leather. It has 27K miles. What should I ask? I am not necessarily interested in squeezing every last dollar out of a sale, but don't want to give it away either. I looked at completed sales on ebay and they are not much help. I looked at Manheim auction prices and they aren't much help either, with only 6 transactions in the last 4 or 5 months. If anyone on the board has bought or sold one lately, that would probably be the best gauge of value. Any help would be appreciated. John

I sold mine (2005 S Coupe artic silver, 18k miles, black full leather, loaded minus PCBB, and tubi full system, Bilstein coil-overs, and some more extras) privately for 46K. Honestly, that was a lot of car for the money, sometimes i wish I would have keep it. But that was the market in November 09. I don't know if this is a valid reference, the market may have change.

I paid about $45,000 for a similar car (not full leather) about a year ago.
Private party deal.

i'd take the higher of edmunds and NADA - they're good enough examples - private party sale. leave yourself a bit of room to negotiate.

having sold 2 cars in the last 2 months, i found autotrader to be the best place to list it. you only pay once and you can get premium placement if you like. plus, you'll be listing lower than dealers list similar cars so you'll start out with a good comparison.

if you can deal with the freak show that is craigslist, go ahead but it's not worth the hassle IMO.

I have seen the market recovering since 18 months ago so I suspect you can get about $46K for it.

The options on the car from the window sticker are:
Arctic Silver Metallic
Special Leather Cocoa
Cocoa Floor Mats
Power Seat Package
Leather Sport Steering Wheel
Sport Chrono Package Plus
Bose High End Sound Package

I also added the Tooki Bluetooth adapter and Dension Ipod adapter.
27K miles, Bridgestone RE1050 tires with 7000 miles on them. Lobster fork wheels.
If you have interest, send me a PM.
John
