I like the look of the back end without any wing/tail/spoiler.

agree with this, and agree the LED's are a bit too much on the bling for me.

The tail looks really good. Works with the color of your car and the tinted windows. Dark, menacing, yet still a classic, smooth 911.

I know your tail lights are expensive and probably a option you originally wanted with the car, but your car would look stunning with black vinyl tinted lights. It's a 5 minute experiment; peel on/peel off if you don't like it.

Regardless, looks great...we'll be seeing a lot more ducks on 997s soon!
The gas comments are great

I think that the color of the car is more stately and reserved than the spoiler and lights are. Not saying they're completely incongruous, but an extreme comparison would be tacking a JDM Scooby wing onto Sir Lyons' favourite BRG XK120. Another color and my opinion might change.

I like the stock look just as well. I associate the wing with the Sport Classic, and short of fitting the Fuchs-style wheels, racing stripe and piped seats, it's a bit out of place on your car.

Forget what I think though, if you love it that's what matters. Enjoy!

I think this tail looks a lot nicer than the Turbo's, and GT3. Not sure how much downforce it produces compared to those ones though!

Anyone knows if this fits 997.1 too? I assume it would.

I really, really like the ducktail but don't care for the tail lights at all.

Maybe some further pictures?
Good job.

The duck tail looks a bit small in scale for these bigger cars. Now a whale tail would be something I would like to see on a modern car.

Although personally I prefer the clean lines of the car without the tail, it looks fine with it as well. What matters is that you like it and I assume you do. Well done and enjoy!

i really like the back end without spoiler... and i like how the stock spoiler add's neeed downforce when needed and otherwise looks clean... that is on the lines of a guy riding around with his spoiler up.. which really is a big pet peeve of mine.

I'm not a fan, fwiw, but don't generally care for spoilers. Looks like a nice install / paint match.

tail looks good -- the lights look "89 Honda Civic DX'ish".

Im not usually a fan of spoilers but that one looks very well done, and the dark color of your car really makes it look good from the side profile. I like that last picture you have. Im on the fence on the back shot.

That's a very nice color -- what's it called?

if you're happy with the setup then it's all that matters.....but......you do need a clean set of polished exhaust tips to tie in the bling of the tail lights.

this aesthetic alone will bring in "the desired look " you're after.
