Update on my 911.
Has ~2,400 miles on it. DFI and pump hasn't shown any further issues--probably just not driven enough.
Rattle was found by me--not coming from dash board. It's around the passenger seat. Just material that hadn't settled its way in yet.
Other than that, she's fine.

Fuel pump at 36000km. The pass seat rattles sometimes.
On the positive note the brakes are still 80% remaining according to the tech. And that's after 36K of mainly city driving and 3 track days. That's awesome, IMO.

Sold my car 2 months ago or so, before i sold it the buyer paid for a PPI and the following came up:
front and rear drain plugs clogged (not covered)
cig lighter in console had no power going to it, wasnt the fuse... (covered under warranty)
HPFP acting up (i had had it checked 4x before and never an issue but they said it needed to be changed (16k miles) (covered)
i think the fuel pump is very odd, i always had a VERY sluggish crank but they always said it was fine, the second i go to sell it they say its defective... at least it got fixed.

09 C4S ... I had the water pump and housing changed at 10k after a year of ownership
Also had some minor issues corrected inside when it went for the first services, they said that the cup holder was too low which left a large gap in the facia.

25,000 miles so far and only the HPFP on the service bulletin and the brackets on the muffler. Both were identified by the dealer and hadn't been a problem yet. Oct '09 delivery for C2S Cab PDK.
