Sterling silver 997 model from the factory any interest ?
I picked up an extra 997 model that was internally produced by the factory
It is solid sterling silver 1/43 on the bottom it has Ferry Porsche's signature
engraved along with 925 REU I was told its 300Grams but I haven't weighed it
It is solid sterling, the plastic base says
Der Betriebsrat
Dr.Ing h.c. F. Porsche AG
Translated "The work council"
It is in mint condition, I have two of the 997s the other models are the 964, 993,996 and 997.
It was done for internal presentation at the factory to engineers, I live most of the year in Germany and picked it up at the model club swap last week at the factory in a collection.
This was never released for sale and is rare and coveted. I have two and only needed one to complete my set.
Its expensive, and is guaranteed authentic and only distributed to employees
after a certain amount of years or significant contribution
