If the Michelins are too much money, you could always get some Generals.

Better yet use the search function on this site. This topic comes up a lot. Here's one thread for starters.

COME ON! Please search... this is discussed many times before!

Basically, if you don't track your car too much, get the cheapest N-rated tire (Bridgestone cheaper), if you still think those are expensive, you can go for a non N-rated tires from reputable tire manufacturers, such as Michelin, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Continental, Yokohama.

Good to see you here, Niner Niner Seven! Guess we're talking Porsche and not Rolex today! Nice car, by the way.

As for me, I run Pirelli PZero Rosso's and really like them. Michelins are tops, too.

Are you needing to replace all four, or just the rear tires?

Check out the Bridgestone RE050A or RE11. Conti's are nice too and less than the Michelin. I know a few people that run on Yoko's and Nitto Invo's....just match up the size and load rating and go with a summer tire.

Nitto INVO's for less than $1k delivered online. I haven't tried them yet. Next set to replace the PS2's. Currently I have Bridgestone RE050A's on one set of wheels and PS2's on the another. BTW, I got great mileage out of the Bridgestones having just replaced the rears @ 29K+.
