Default Red 'S' badge

Just curious to know where you guys have been getting your red 'S' badges. I used to think they came off of 996 c4s' but then i noticed that the corner of the S is cut out for the 4.
Or do you guys get the 997 S's painted?

http://www.bumperplugs.com, if you really must

Under their logos they have custom painted "S," make sure you don't get the one with the 4 cutout like you've seen elsewhere.

In my opinion it looks a bit gaudy, like a GT-R badge on a Nissan Sentra. But that's, like, my opinion man. Enjoy!

If you're putting an S badge on a non-S car, OK. But just changing the color - come one, its just adding a little visual contrast ...

I may not be completely impartial however ...

Mine came from Eric at Bumperplugs.com

On a black C2"S" it's a subtle but pleasing....visual distinction.... that has received many positive comments from folks at various PCA DE track events.
But that's just my personal experience from last season.

I think it's all about an individual's taste--and their car. For that car, above, in black, the S in red looks fine. For the average silverish 911 it looks a little blingy. Now how about one in Blue Turquoise?

Nice! I agree that the red could almost cheapen the car. How about painting or buying the "carerra" in your paint color and keeping the "S" silver. Little twist to it all.

Porsche has it made with their customers. Customers who actually CARE about the color of their emblems! It's insane! But, whatever floats your boat!

i think its awesome people dig down to work on every detail...its the little details that sometimes make all the difference..dont worry about the toyota comments etc.. why do people say it makes it cheap cuz toyota has it, i guess since were porsche owners other cars that cost less are no good? really? other car companies might be on to something here...making the S stand out and as long as it fits ur color scheme i think its a great idea..in the end if you have good taste and no how to work your colors, it will come out awesome, same goes for interior design etc..
