Monaco motors recommendations?
Anybody take their car for service to Monaco motors in Canoga Park, CA?
My 2 year service is coming up on my 2008 911S with 8500 miles. All the dealers I called want anywhere from 650 to 1000 for the service and brake bleed. Monaco motors will do it for $350 and reset my service light as well. Any advice? What do you guys recommend.
My understanding is as long as the service is documented, then the dealer cannot deny warranty work. I would rather take it to the dealer if the price difference was $100, but at least $300 is quite a difference. Any advice is appreciated.

Is that a dealer? If it is, its not a bad deal.
Even if it's not a dealer, but a reputable independent shop it's seems to be a reasonable compared to other estimates i have seen for this job.
Although, if you see Edgy01's post titled "2 year service at home" you will see that there is not much involved in this service and you could do it yourself. But it might you some peace of mind to have a reliable mechanic or dealer look things over.
I think this is where having things done by the dealer might pay off esp in the warranty periord. First if they do miss something and that something goes wrong...you can always go back them and they should make it right as they will get reimbursed by Porsche during the warranty peroid. Second, if you have a relationship with the dealer, they may go to bat for you if you request a "good will" repair in the event something catastrophic happens just out of warranty.
