Default Turbo II Wheel -- Thoughts?

I, personally, think the new Turbo II wheel is very sharp.
However, I haven't seen it in person and am interested in thoughts on
how the wheel looks in the flesh.

Any opinions?

From what I understand they are forged so be interesting if there is a weight difference. From an aesthetic point of view and given I was never a big fan of the previous Turbo wheels I think they look great, wouldn't hesitate to put them on given the opportunity.

I like them a lot, but they remind me of these every time I see an accord coupe.

Are these they? IMHO? Old ones look better from a macho POV. Car looks beefier, tougher with old ones. Saw them in a drive by, did not see them sitting in showroom. Here's a pic FWIW (hopefully they are the wheels you guys are are discussing).

I think the new ones are a substantial improvement over the old ones. I don't think they're great, but they're way way better than the 997.1 wheels.

If there's one thing a TT doesn't need it's more slats and vents. The new wheels eliminate 10 slats per side of the vehicle, and that's an improvement. Now if they could just lose the foglamps I'd be a happy camper.

I just ordered my 2011 C4S with the Turbo II rims. They are spectacular and a couple of TT's in the showroom had them on. By far the nicest wheel Porsche makes. I have a 3 month wait until my C4S arrives.

Personally, I think they're both rather boring. If you want to 'lose the foglamps" get a GT2!

Me too! I am not a big fan of the Turbo II wheel myself, but the RS Spyder wheel looks nice.

I had the OEm 977.2 C4S wheels switched out for 977.1 Turbo wheels. What a major improvement on a meteor grey C4S. 5mm spacers butt them out just enough for a stunning sleek look. I found the silvery OEM's to look cheesy. Anyway...my opinion. Will post photos.

I saw the Turbo II wheels live in action this past weekend. It was an Arctic Silver TT with PCCBs, and the wheels looked great in the flesh (much better than shown in L|Br's pic).

Thanks guys. I appreciate your thoughts.

The new new TT wheel certainly shows a lot of the brake disc
and caliper.

That RS wheel is a great looking wheel as well.

Does anyone have the weight statistics on these new Turbo II wheels? And any evidence they are actually forged like the original 997 Turbo wheels? The PCNA site doesn't mention them being forged (whereas is does mention it for the originals).

I like the look of the new ones, but hope they aren't just another cast wheel. Thanks.

Needs less Audi, more Porsche.
I'm still a fan of the Fuchs or even the standard 997.1 lobsters (painted black)
